Band-geek.net was officially registered on March 22, 2004 and is my personal outlet on the internet.
I first registered band-geek.net in early 2004 and I ran it up until my senior year of high school when I decided to let it expire. I saved all of my files and things just in case I ever wanted to start it back up… and here I am again, back with band-geek.net :]. I planned on registering the same name again from the get go because I wasn’t ready to part with band-geek.net, and frankly, I couldn’t think of anything more perfect. Unfortunately, at the time band-geek.net was being occupied by a domain squatter :[. Again, I tried to think of another name I would possibly want to register, but nothing came to mind that fit just perfectly, so on August 11, 2008 I decided to register band-geek.com instead. After registering my new domain I discovered that all the blogs that I accumulated throughout the years were gone, like a floppy disk in the trash. Literally. Upset would have been an understatement, but thanks to archive.org I was able to recover most of them :]
On September 23, 2008, I was FINALLY able to scoop up band-geek.net again all to myself :D & now I own both band-geek.net and band-geek.com.
So, why do I keep this website? Well, why not? I guess you could call it my anti-stress, my little outlet to type whatever is on my mind. I love to write about what’s on my mind and what types of things I’m doing, and look back at them years later and see how far I’ve come. I’m big on documenting my memories. It’s fun to look back on life and know exactly what you were doing or thinking about. I’ve had this website for so long I just can’t possibly ever let it go :]
